Renewal Process & Fees

Renewal Due Date

Renewal notices are issued annually in January, both in hard copy form and via email. The notice includes an application form to complete and return with the required documentation and payment. You will have until March 29, 2013 to complete and return the application. You will also receive a reminder email in early March if the BOC office has not received your renewal application.

To avoid delays, it is important to provide a completed application and supporting documentation of the hours required for renewal. Payment or a purchase order should be submitted with the application. Incomplete applications delay processing.

Renewal fees are payable by check/purchase order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). The fee includes an up-to-date BOC wallet card, an individual subscription to the BOC newsletter, and quarterly notices of training and continuing education in your area.

Renewal fees are $55 for each level. If you would like to renew for both level I and level II, there is a combined rate of $85.

If you cannot fulfill the application requirements by March 31st, you will need to complete our BOC Renewal Extension Request Form. Please be advised that effective January 2011, applications submitted after March 31st will incur a late fee of $25. Those received after June 30th will be charged a $50 late fee.
