Building Operator Certification (BOC) training includes nearly 74 hours of classroom and project work (7.4 CEUs) in building systems operation and maintenance. Each course in the series is completed in a one-day training session, except BOC 103 – HVAC Systems and Controls, which is a two-day course. To become certified, participants must pass an exam at the end of each training day and complete all assigned projects. Unless otherwise noted, training begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends by 4:00 p.m. Tuition for the complete training series is only $1,150. Early registration is encouraged.
The Energy Center of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, in cooperation with the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance is providing BOC training in St. Louis, Missouri with the generous support of the Laclede Gas Company. The Laclede Gas Company customers are eligible for a $575 tuition rebate upon successful completion of the series.
