Westar Energy is offering an EARLY BIRD SPECIAL for an educational seminar that will help you improve efficiency in your facilities, without sacrificing comfort or building functionality. Enroll today in the Building Operator Certification (BOC) series, Level I, and Westar will pay half of your tuition upfront, rather than issuing a reimbursement upon completion of the series. Through the EARLY BIRD SPECIAL, the tuition cost is $575. Please sign by June 1, 2016 to qualify! Reimbursements are not valid with any discounts. Level I Training Series
Building Operator Certification (BOC) training includes nearly 74 hours of classroom and project work (7.4 CEUs) in building systems operation and maintenance. Each class in the series is completed in one day, except BOC 1001, Energy Efficient Operation of Building HVAC Systems, which is a two day class. To become certified, participants must pass an exam at the of end each training day and complete five assigned projects. Unless otherwise noted, training begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends by 5:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Registration deadline is March 06, 2015. Tuition must be paid prior to the first day of class.
