BOC Level 1 Multifamily

The BOC Program is pleased to introduce a new curriculum and associated credential: BOC Level I Multifamily Training. This training provides facilities staff with knowledge and skill enhancement in the key activities associated with energy efficient operations in multifamily buildings.

This training is ideal for operating engineers, HVAC technicians, heads of maintenance and other building personnel with experience working in multifamily buildings with 20 or more units. Participants must attend all classes and complete class tests and assigned projects for a total of 74 hours (7.4 CEUs). Graduates of this training series will earn a Training Certificate of Completion.

Participants will learn how to:

• Identify areas for energy savings in their building

• Implement practical, low-cost and no-cost efficiency solutions by working with existing systems in the building

• Create a preventive maintenance plan that improves the building environment and prolongs the life of equipment.

Please note: This is a pilot training course intended to help us revise and improve newly-developed curriculum. Therefore, the tuition is heavily discounted. We will ask students who participate in this pilot training to provide detailed feedback of the curriculum throughout the class to help us identify what changes or improvements may be needed. We greatly appreciate your feedback!
